As mentioned in my previous post, I stopped at Lake Frome to enjoy the sound of the frogs and take in the peace of the place.
In the summer time, this is a typical dry dusty cow paddock. Then the winter rains arrive, and it transforms to this wonderful wetlands.
Fred was with me, so I couldn’t go into the Park (domesticated animals prohibited) although I have been in on another occasion and it’s well worth the walk to observe the bird life. Just keep an eye open for the snakes in summertime though.
Looks very interesting! Nicely captured!
Thanks! I’ve spent most of my life living in places without much water, so this is quite a novelty for me still.
Enivea, I am sure this would be a great place for birds and bird watchers. It would be easy to spend some lazy time in this place.
Oh yes indeed Margaret. Today I explored another place and had birds galore tweeting away in the glorious sunshine. 🙂
