Nature’s Art

I’ve left Broken Hill region, much as I love it, and have returned to Wentworth, which I visited some weeks ago, when the weather wasn’t quite as nice as it is now.  It’s been good to visit things I missed last time, and see others in a better light.

In the case of Perry Sandhills, the light was literally better!  Fred and I spent several hours on different occasions exploring this amazing area.  I’ll do more on it another time, but for now here’s examples of what I choose to call “Nature’s Art”

Wattle Day

September 1st in Australia is Wattle Day.

Mind you, in this great diverse country, there’s bound to be a wattle of some sort flowering every month of the year.  Bless her.

I found this flower near Silverton, NSW at the end of August.  Beautiful desert bloomer.
