The Port Fairy Folk Festival has now been and gone for another year. I loved almost every minute of it, but the highlight for me was attending the concert given by Buffy Sainte-Marie. She is the most extra-ordinary woman, and gave a sensational performance – the memory of that night will live on for me…..
I’m still living out of a suitcase….. hopefully something more certain on my housing will be resolved soon. In the meantime, life is very busy, hence my silences on here. I’ve met some most interesting people, seen some great coastline, and learned about volcanoes!
Last week, while having to detour from my planned route due to road closure, I came across an old cemetery at Woolsthorpe and when I explored it, found this little treasure.
While visiting the Dunkeld in the Grampians later that day, Fred and I found a Labyrinth to walk.
For now, I’ll leave you with this message, and hopefully catch up again soon ♥
From sunrise today to sundown, looking out my back door. Yes, I know, I’m pretty lucky 🙂
A gorgeous sunrise, but boy, it was chilly nonetheless. A taste of what is to come…..
My merry band of followers…
The morning mist shrouds the northern paddocks.
Our little ray of sunshine 🙂
And pretty clouds sail across the sky.
Cats like to look down on their ‘owners’…..
She – who must be obeyed.
Decorating the fence post.
Keeping me company in the garden.
Sunchokes about the kiss the sun.
And finally, tonight just before sundown, as I walked out the back door to turn off a garden tap, this is what I saw.
A good excuse to listen to some more Creedence 🙂
Bye Pete, and thanks for all you’ve done in your time on this Earth. Your words and music live on.
