Change is inevitable.  Whether we embrace change or not often depends on our perspective, and circumstances, but change will happen regardless.  This leaf was once bright green, full of life and waving in the breezes.  Now it lies beneath the tree, changing back into a form that will again nourish the tree, but in a different manner.  In my eyes, each stage is beautiful.  That’s what I need to remember when challenged by changes!

On my morning bike ride today, I found markings on the road, possibly indicating that some of the eucalypt forest will be harvested soon.   I’ve only recently begun forays into the forest…..maybe just in time…..before it goes…..

A change that I’ve chosen today, has been to alter the layout of this blog.  Amongst the changes, I’ve updated the blogroll – please check it out, you just may find another site that interests you. 🙂  Any feedback on the changes most welcome.

Opening the gate of gratitude.

“The ground’s generosity takes in our compost and grows beauty.  Try to be more like the ground.”  Rumi

There is much to be grateful for.  A dear friend showed me about how to cultivate an attitude of gratitude.  A wise man.

I’m grateful for the wise people who have helped me on this journey, and for the fools, for sharing their wisdom also.

Most of all, I’m grateful for the creatures who teach me about the things that really matter.  Especially Sally the horse.♥
