In flight
Published by eremophila
I live in the Australian countryside with my animals. Together we explore the land around us and their connection with the world helps me to see what I would otherwise be blind to. They are my teachers. My aim is to convey this other way of seeing through my photography. View all posts by eremophila

Do you happen to know what kind of birds those are? Their wings seem quite sharp, like a kite or petral. They’re beautiful – as is all that water!
I wish I could tell you Linda, but I’d only be guessing. I’m on the lookout for a regional booklet on the birds to help identify them. There are kites around here, but they tend to be more in pairs or solitary. I’ve got some images of the white shouldered kite I can dig up one day. Soon I should be seeing the black swans again – I think they are nesting at the moment.
