  1. Fred looks like Dixie Rose when she wants something. I never fail to laugh. I’ve never known a cat who would sit up like that. My favorite photo is that arched tree with all the growth on top — that’s just amazing. On the other hand, whatever that pink thing is in the first photo, it’s pretty and interesting.

    • The pink thing if a flower of a tiny low growing plant, but I’m not sure if its regarded here as a weed or not. The arched tree, which is one of my favourite shapes, is actually a dead tree with a native climber taking advantage of it. Sometimes in the fog it reminds me of the Loch Ness Monster πŸ™‚
Dixie Rose is of course, quite special πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Sheila. Parts of it are drying off now, with summer fast approaching, but the lower paddocks are still full of lush greenery.

  2. Hi Enivea, I wonder what the cats are planning to do when they sneak up on Merriweather. Fred reminds me of a meercat in his high alert pose. The things a dog has to do to get a better view.
I agree with Shoreacres, the plant in the top photo is both pretty and interesting.

    • I’ll love to see the cats cuddled up to Merriwether, but that’s only likely in my dreams πŸ™‚
Fred enjoyed riding the horse, because of getting a better view. Me too. Now we have to content ourselves in other ways….

  3. I’ve missed your photography, especially of the fields around your. I hope I can keep up again with my favorites; time has been flying by with some medical issues with my family in the last few months. These views ae perfect — the sheep by the weathered tree is special!

    • I do hope your issues have been resolved Clover. I’ve just spent the morning walking about the front paddock to retrieve my sheep who went AWL with the heifers – Fred had a great time too πŸ™‚ but camera stayed home.
