      • Hi again, Enivea. I clicked on the link to the Queen of The Tea Cozies site and there in one of the photographs was a woman I have met from the Castlemaine CWA proudly displaying her tea cosy. What a surprise!

  1. I grew up in coffee klatsch culture, but there’s much similarity with the tea-drinking rituals some cherish so: friendship, sociabilty, a time to pause and relax. Your photo captures it all!

    • Thanks Linda, I miss the coffee ritual I had with a friend many years ago – time and distance the culprits. But then again, I did grow up in an era when Aussies were tea drinkers almost exclusively, so the teapot tends to reign supreme. Plus, teapots tend to have more character about them than coffee pots – leastwise those available over here anyway. And then there’s the Tea Cozies ! 🙂
