Blue Skies

For all my friends who are being sorely tested by grey skies and northern winter temperatures, a bit of brightness 🙂

  1. And we appreciate it – yes, we do! Right now, there’s blue sky with high clouds here as the sun comes up, but I had to thaw out the water bowls for the birds again. Blocks of ice aren’t very satisfying when you just want a drink!

    • The news reports certainly don’t sound too comforting, and I’m sure the birds appreciate all that you, and others of similar kind hearts, do for them.

    • Glad you got some nice sky too Margaret. Hope this forthcoming batch of hot weather doesn’t bring fires. It goes from one extreme to the other, doesn’t it.

  2. Yes, the temperatures this week certainly fall into the extreme category, Enivea.
I have adopted my very hot weather daily routine which includes sheltering inside during the hottest part of the day.

There was a great evening sky last night as I scurried home with Katie with a thunderstorm fast approaching. Hot, even at 9.00pm, though.

    • Those thunderstorms caused a great many fires in SA, and across the border also. Luckily, none in my area. We’re also keeping inside during the hottest hours, except for Frank, who gets cabin fever very quickly. He finds a cool spot to rest however. Just another two days and then it may be cooler…..
