Falling Light

The weather has been very wintry this week, and mostly I’ve stayed fairly close to home, with just little excursions outside to exercise the cats and dog.  There is an area not far from the cottage that is surrounded by pine trees, obviously planted as a windbreak to the original orchard, dating back many decades years ago.  A perfect place to enjoy a little walk out of the icy winds.  Also, as I found, a fun place to experiment with some more ICM – intentional camera movement. It is the unpredictable results that I find so fascinating.  Hope you enjoy this little series too 🙂

    • That’s what attracts me to this method. I’d love to use them as a starting point to a collage – image is printed out, then that is laid onto textured paper with other artifacts, and rephotographed, and ‘meddled’ with. One day, when I’ve got pots of money to finance these experiments 🙂

  1. It’s fun to experiment with new techniques, you never know what might result. You have found an interesting way to produce a really wonderful look! Good for you, eremophila!
