At Dusk

Everyone needs beauty as well as bread, places to play and pray, where nature heals and gives strength to body and soul alike.
John Muir

The deeper we look into nature, the more we recognize that it is full of life, and the more profoundly we know that all life is a secret and that we are united with all life that is in nature.

A the end of your life, it’s not going to matter how many breaths you took,
but how many moments took your breath away.

  1. Evivea, These photographs are very tranquil – the golden light, the still water. I can imagine the water birds calling and diving into the water.

I particularly like the first and last quotes. I started thinking about moments when my breath has been taken away.

    • Thanks Margaret. I’m pleased you could sense the atmosphere 🙂 I was late travelling home from a different photo shoot, and yet knew I had to stop for a few minutes at this place and fortunately the birds didn’t take fright – or flight! Care to share about those moments your breath has been taken away? 🙂

    • Many thanks Linda 🙂 It is a wonderful hour and in a way, I prefer the evening – providing it’s not windy. The issue for me, is driving on roads with the danger of colliding with wildlife who tend to be more active at this time of the day. However, sometimes I can’t avoid it, and so then, I take the opportunity of stopping when the view commands it.
