Broken

The only nice thing about being imperfect is the joy it brings to others. -Doug Larson

Wide open

There is a crack in everything, That’s how the light gets in. -Leonard Cohen

Fence sitter

I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions. -Augusten Burroughs

Just as

Use the talents you possess, for the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except the best. -Henry Van Dyke

Making comparisons

Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else. -Judy Garland

Different

You look at the scratch and completely miss the diamond. -Raphie Frank

Imperfection

Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect, it means that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.

    1. Linda, I’m very pleased I could give you a laugh 🙂 Yes, I see the ‘praying mantis’, although there are other times when I’m reminded more of Nessie (from Scotland) . I’m just waiting for a real pea souper fog so I can sneak up and snap her 🙂
