Transformation

Thanking heaven even for our difficulties and misfortunes is the best way to transform them. You will see your difficulties in a different light, as if you had wrapped them in a film of pure gold.

I found this casing on the ground left behind by a newly emerged moth early one morning last week while I was out exploring in the paddocks.  I lifted it to sit on the fence post simply to make photographing it easier, and to catch the morning light. The creature left the safety of the soil where it was encased, to risk transformation into a creature of the air. Risks.  Life.  Full of risks and challenges.  To cease risking is to cease living.  A co-incidence I found it at this time in my life?  Maybe yes, maybe no……
