The red sand of the desert
Has dissolved my armour
Slowly, tentatively I shed rusted pieces
I stand, exposed.
The desert sun scorches me
Transforms me.
The wind carries away my old skin
And as the rain falls, I feel it.
No longer numb, I feel.
I awake in a foreign land
Confused, uncertain.
Where are the sign posts?
Who are these people?
Who am I? What is my quest?
I strive to re-discover
The Spirit within me.
To not be a-part from
But be part of All That Is.
